I am running RedHat Enterprise Linux V4 (Update 2) and when I try and compile Zabbix [ ./configure --enable-server --with-mysql --with-net-snmp ] I get the following error:
....Output shortened.....
checking for MySQL support... yes
checking for floor... no
checking for floor in -lm... yes
checking for compress in -lz... yes
checking for PostgreSQL support... no
checking for ZABBIX server database selection... ok
checking for NET-SNMP support... no
configure: error: Invalid NET-SNMP directory - unable to find net-snmp-includes.h
[zabbix@localhost zabbix-1.1]$
The version of net-snmp (seemingly) installed is 5.1.2.
.... I have sorted it out. Needed installation of net-snmp. Got this from net (version 5.1.2)...installed and all's well.
