    Importing Template XML

    Hi,

I'm trying to import some XML and get the right information:

"Imported successfully" - so when I go to templates, the template is not listed in there.

What's happening? How can I troblheshoot this?

    Thanks.

It's possible that .XML file is not a template, but the Host configuration.
So, after the import of that .XML, you will have one more Host added, and nothing will be changed in Template section.

Or, .XML file can contain only the description of some Graphs/Items/Triggers which will be added inside of existing hosts.

Check .XML file with any text editor.
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

Both templates in the article looks great.
I have no idea why it doesn't work for you.
Did you download it or just copy-paste?
        Sincerely yours,
        Aleksey

try to click "source-code" icon next to the start of code, then copy-paste the code from freshly opened window.
may be some invisible symbols ruined your code.
