    binary not created

Hey all I am trying to install the zabbix_agent on a 64 bit Gentoo install and for some reason after I run the configure and make per the setup directions once I go into the bin dir under the source I only have a ZabbixW32.exe file and no UNIX binary does anyone have any idea what the heck is going on here?

    Thanks

no errors but I think the online docs are just out dated because if I go under the src dir the agent is compiled so the online docs are wrong.

      Thanks

        I think you didn't specify --prefix="<your dir>" while making ./configure.

No need to do the prefix if I am ok with where everything should be installed at, so yes you are correct I did not use the --prefix flag, although one strange thing was once I ran my make I did find the windows .exe file under the dir odd I thought. I did some reaseach online and found a post (the site leaves me) where the same issue was found and that was what pointed me to dig deeper in to the source tree.
