    Zabbix Proxy server requirement?

What's the Zabbix Proxy server requirement? I want to set up 4 proxy for our environment and was wondering if if the requirement should be as same as our Zabbix server?

Right now all data is being sent from different environment to one zabbix server. So i want to split it through proxy. Monitoring around 1000 hosts.

As per (a small) part of our discussion in the other thread, All my setup is on VM's. I have 3 proxies. The proxies do not need as much horsepower the main DB server.

For my proxies, the OS is RHEL and I have 8GB memory and 4 vCPU's. You could probably get away with 2 vCPU's, but 4 is our smallest VM build at our shop. You could also use a non-commercial OS such as Ubuntu or some other flavor that doesn't require a license, and it will work just fine.
