Host in Maintenance Mode still sending alerts

    Hello,

I have a host with an issue that I put in maintenance mode, but I'm still getting alerts for it.

    Maintenance mode showing active: http://i.imgur.com/XgOQX8B.png

Actions showing not to send to hosts in maintenance mode: http://imgur.com/EgCOQkw

I'm running Zabbix 2.2.6. Why am I still getting notified? Please let me know if I can provide more information.

I had the same problem somewhere in the internet I read if you recreate the action it solve the problem . I tried yesterday it worked . It didn't send a notification under the maintenance period , just after sent OK.

Thanks. I recreated the action, so we'll see if that works. I should be able to put a host in maintenance with an active alert and have the notification suppressed..

From my experience if you have a host with an active alert (it fired off before the maintenance mode) and you then put it in maint mode, you will still get the OK email once the problem resolves because it happened before the maintenance. If the problem occurs within the maintenance mode it will not alert. There is no way to stop (beyond killing the email connection) an OK email once the problem email has been fired, the OK is pending and waiting to go no matter what.

I'm fine with the OK email going through. I was trying to suppress the PROBLEM emails that were pinging me every hour. If it's a known problem that can't be immediately resolved, I'd like to be able to suppress alerts for a predefined period of time.
