Zabbix 2.4 not worked :(

Hi.

I installed Zabbix as described in the documentation: "Installation from packages" and (at other time) "Installation from sources".
I installed Zabbix under CentOS 7 and (at other time) Fedora 20.

Next, I performed "Quickstart" and "New host" and "New item" as described in the documentation.
With an item defined, zabbix NOT performed gathering data, "Monitoring → Latest data" is EMPTY.

I sure that:
- entered item 'Key' and 'Type of information' fields exactly as in the screenshot
- both agent and server are running
- host status is 'Monitored' and its availability icon is green
- host is selected in the host dropdown, item is active
- zabbix logs have no error or warning

After all this, I install Zabbix 2.2 (CentOS 7 from EPEL repo packages) and ... it works!
"Monitoring → Latest data" filled with data.

Why Zabbix 2.4 does not work as described in the documentation ?
May be necessary to something else to do?

This can't happen, so that the FOUR different 2.4 installation does not work!

When I tried the latest version at first time I took a little bit to figure out that I have to set something on filter to see anything in latest data. Try again expanding the filter tab and setting something in hosts or host groups fields.

Use Search for your hostname, then click on latest data for a host. That gets you around the "new" filter :-)
