Windows service discovery... exclusion of some windows service...

Hi,

I try to exclude some windows service from the discovery rules but for some reason it won't work.

I want to exclude BITS service.

I create a regular expression like this

Windows service names for discovery:

result is FALSE = ^(BITS|MMCSS|gupdate|SysmonLog|clr_optimization_v2 .0.50727_32|clr_optimization_v4.0.30319_32|BITS)$

change the Keep lost resources period to 0 for few minutes and bring back to default

But nothing service trigger hit again I can't figure it out what I'm doing wrong...

I too am having this same problem. I've been beating my head against this for days now, trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Very Frustrating.

I've tried to follow various posts about this issue, but most seem incomplete with what they're saying to do. Some say you need to add a filter for a new reg exp, but i'm at a loss as to the syntax for the macro side of the filter.

If someone could please clarify what we have to do with Zabbix 5 to get specific services to stop triggering problems, it would be greatly appreciated.
