    Java gateway not listening

    Hi,

    I want to use the java gateway to monitoring JMX stuff, but cant get the java-gateway daemon to listen on given port. I can start the java-gateway with

    /etc/init.d/zabbix-java-gateway start

    it will start and gives OK but crashes direct after startup instead of starting to listen on port 10052.

    here's my zabbix_java config

    Code:
    # This is a configuration file for Zabbix Java Gateway.
    # It is sourced by startup.sh and shutdown.sh scripts.

    Hey ZabbixITG,

    Change your init script zabbix-java-gateway to init file script bellow:

    cat /etc/init.d/zabbix_java
    #!/bin/bash
    NAME=zabbix-java
    PATH=$PATH
    DAEMON=/opt/zabbix/sbin/zabbix_java/startup.sh
    DOWN=/opt/zabbix/sbin/zabbix_java/shutdown.sh
    DESC="Zabbix Java Gateway daemon"
    PID=/tmp/zabbix_java.pid
    test -f $DAEMON || exit 0
    set -e
    case "$1" in
    start)
    echo "Starting $DESC"
    $DAEMON
    ;;
    stop)
    echo "Stopping $DESC"
    $DOWN
    ;;
    *)
    N=/etc/init.d/$NAME
    # echo "Usage: $N {start|stop}" >&2
    echo "Usage: $N {start|stop}" >&2
    exit 1
    ;;
    esac
    exit 0

      Same error

      Hi lagos.mc,

      I think I have the same problem, my Zabbix Java Gateway start ok but the port isn't listening.

      I don't have Zabbix installed in /opt/zabbix. Where can I find the Java Gateway script?

      Thanks
