Zabbix DB too big because of history

    Hello,

i've a problem with my Zabbix DB, now it's getting too big and I don't know how to shrink (90% of my server storage). I've checked in /var/lib/mysql and "ibdata1" is taking 164 GB.
I've looked into the DB and there are two huge tables: history_sync (41 GB) and history_uint_sync (105 GB). I guess that housekeeper is not workling properly, is there a way to check and manually run it?
Or, maybe, is there another way to clean up history tables?

    Version: zabbix 2.2.2

    Thanks

    Hi

its the everlasting story ..try to search in forum ( not only ) zabbix partitioning, zabbix database grows, zabbix clean database, timescaledb - alternative db backend with automated partitioning, ...

no hard feelings use the forum, google, this topic has been discussed

as youre version is pretty old this might still apply ( in general youre using unsupported version )
