I'm using zabbix server 4.0 on 1st site and zabbix proxy 4.0 on 2nd site. I have connection problems between these two sites from time to time and that is one of the reasons I've decided to use zabbix proxy. If I understood well the conception of zabbix proxy, it should gather the data even if connection with the server is not possible at the moment. After the connection is restored proxy should upload the data to the server and the graphs should have no gaps. In my case it is not working like that.
What could be the reason?
In the proxy logs I have something like this:
35204:20200507:232525.834 Unable to connect to the server [x.x.x.x]:10051 [cannot connect to [[x.x.x.x]:10051]: [4] Interrupted system call]
35205:20200507:232540.459 Still unable to connect...
After the connection is restored proxy is sending data to server again, but only actual.
