Raspberry Disk read/write request responses are too high

I installed Zabbix on my Raspberry Pi 4 4GB. So, I was building my dash and noticed a different alarm.

Zabbix server	mmcblk0p2: Disk read/write request responses are too high (read > 20 ms for 15m or write > 20 ms for 15m)	1.0059 ms, 58.7575 ms

I'm using an SD card, so I suppose the alarm it is related to the SD card lower access speeds, despite being a good one (I guess).

Does anyone knows how to optimize the read/write on RPi?

I know this post is very old, but I ran into this issue too and was wondering if you managed to find a way out of this ?

Maybe this led you to what I'm experiencing right now ? Everytime I reboot the Pi, it doesn't retain any information...even if I type "history" in the terminal, I always get the same old command from a few months ago...but the filesystem is rw, not ro !

I'll do a separate post in order to ask the community about this, but as I saw you had the same alarm I did, I thought it might somehow be related.

Raspberry now supports USB boot, so, my workaround on this was to upgrade the SD card to a good small pendrive.
Now it has lower write speeds.

Thanks ! We are actually looking into the possibility of using SSDs, but a pendrive would also do the job
