Issues with two Zabbix Templates - HAProxy and RabbitMQ

We have a new install as part of our migration from Sensu -> Zabbix and we're just doing the development in setting up the templates against the host. Having problems with two of the templates in terms of discovery

• Template App HAProxy by Zabbix
• Template App RabbitMQ by Zabbix

Both are running in Zabbix Agent mode - but we're getting the following errors on some of the items. Zabbix agent and server are v5.0

HAProxy

None of the discovery items are working correctly and the following error is showing in the info under discovery for the host:

Cannot accurately apply filter: no value received for macro "{#MODE}" json path '$.mode'.

Even in debug I cannot see a reason for this.

This happens with all the discovery items for HAProxy.

RabbitMQ

Another discovery problem but different error. This one isn't getting any error in the discovery screen, but it's triggering an alert:

RabbitMQ: Failed to fetch nodes data (or no data for 30m)

Solved this issue with HAProxy by upgrading it to newer version (rh-haproxy-18)
