"not supported item" simple question

Hi All

I'am a big zabbix fan.

But I have a doubt that you Zabbix Gurus can clarify in seconds.

Back in version 1.8.4 if a item became unsupported, we can go to ( itens and manually change de state to enabled, this is useful for troubleshooting purpose )

In zabbix 2.x if I want to change one unsupported item manually I can only change the state from unsupported to disable and from disabled to unsupported. Is this the expected behavior ? ( I now that we have a variable that active unsupported items by N seconds, but this is not the question )

Any comment will be appreciated.

I believe that is correct. I recall Rihards talking about it during Zabbix certified training a few months ago. Like you, I found it to be quite useful to force it to enabled for testing purposes.

May thanks for your reply. It make no sense for me and start to think that maybe it was a problem or bug.

But I already test zabbix appliance download by the zabbix page and have exactly the same behavior.
