False alert : host has just been restarted

    Hi,

I have a problem with one of my host, I monitor a server (on Windows Server 2003) using the template " Template OS Windows" and since a few days I reports false alarms saying that my server had restarted (it happens once a day), when in fact its not the case at all.

After a quick analysis of the measured data I noticed this in my graph :

Because the template trigger is made like that :

    {Template OS Windows:system.uptime.change(0)}<0

I understand why its giving me an alert, but i want to know what can be the reason of the decrease of value for like a couple of seconds ?

    Regards..
