    Graph not showing any data

    I have issue regarding graph.
Currently we are using Zabbix version 1.8 and using browser to monitor
I having interesting issue that one of our monitoring not showing any data in graph. For me it weird as another host and location example like firewall monitoring other firewall I can see the graph but only this cannot see any graph. Last this thing work 20 December 2014.

Additional info, the host is alive and pingable. I tried to ping and get reply so no issue.

In Monitoring > Event showing Disaster but status Unknown. Are this is problem with script or else as I newbie in this Zabbix.

    Thanks in advance.

A few things to check -

    * The host that has the graph with no data, does this host have an agent installed on it, or are you doing agentless monitoring such as SNMP?

    * If it has an agent, is the agent running?

    * If it has an agent, check the zabbix_agentd.log for any errors

*Is it only one item that has no data? In the Zabbix frontend, go to the host and look at that specific item. Does it have a red X out to the right that shows an error message when you hover your mouse over the X?

    * You say the last it worked was Dec 20. Are you basing that on looking at the graph itself or by going to Monitoring --> Latest Data ?

      1. Yes, we are using SNMP.

Scenario like this, during 20 Dec 2014 the device detected down by Zabbix monitoring but 5 minute after that it detected device is up again. However since the first detected down Zabbix not capturing any graph data until today even though the device already been up and stable for a long time.

Any idea what would happen on this scenario. That no changes have been done in Zabbix nor that devices.

      2. Yes, we check both base on your last question.
