can't link template icmp ping to another

Hi,

I'm being asked to add the ICMP ping template to all servers.

I thought I'd do the same as for the network hardware, link the OS Windows and OS Linux template to the ICMP Ping template.

but when I try to do it on the windows template I get an error message: Template cannot be linked to another template more than once even through other templates.

I don't see why, the windows template is not linked to another template that would create a duplicate item.

If I take a host, I can add the icmp ping template to it without any problem.

Do you have multiple templates with duplicate item keys? If so, they can not be linked to the same host. Maybe you could divide the template for OS's or ICMP Ping so that it does not duplicate.

I don't think it's the same.

I want to link Linux and Windows template to ICMP template and I can't see any duplicated item keys

but for the moment I will do it with auto enrolment action
