Something is fishy with actions

When i create action and put trigger name condition in it that action never works even though trigger is being activated.
I e i have
Host-group =
Severity >=
trigger value = ON

Works fine.

If I add trigger condition - it stops working.
I also try trigger name LIKE condition "%trigger name tail"
it doesnt work as well. it seems like theres some bug or some logic behind action conditions which i dont understand.

Remove the percentage sign to make it work.

So LIKE is actually not SQL "where var LIKE '%str'" or 'str%'?

Is it just substring?

I'd rather though use exact trigger name but if i specify it it doesnt work.

We are actually having a similar issue. We use LIKE for a couple of our alerts, we see the events / triggers, but no actions / alerts firing. So far it is only affecting our LIKE based alerts. For example, we have an alert set to act when a trigger named 'Ping HEALTH CHECK' and another one named 'CPU HEALTH CHECK'. We then created an alert to act when trigger like "HEALTH CHECK" went on. We see the triggers go active and get no alerts. Have been chasing this one for a couple days now.
