Zabbix 5.0 - Bitdefender prefends configuring DB Connection in installation Wizard.

Hi all,

We are new with Zabbix and have installed everything on the latest Ubuntu LTS version.

When we go to the url it works and we get the Frontend installation wizard.

When we get to the DB Configuration step and click next after filling in all the correct information, we are getting a message from Bitdefender with no possibility to proceed.

Turning off Bitdefender is not an option. So are there any suggestions why this happens on this step?
Is it the fact it is using http instead of https? Because we have followed the official installation guide.

How to prevent the blocking of the setup wizard on this part?

Likely a false positive. If you do not manage Bitdefender for your org, I would talk to the manager and explain the situation and ask to disable it temporarily for your workstation.

Thanks for your answer. We have finally whitelisted the Zabbix url. Weird that the method gives a False Positive. For now case closed!
