    Slow items discovery

    Hi All,
each time i add a new host to the system, either using a Zabbix agent or SNMP, after applying a template it takes a lot of time until data gets populated from the new host. Sometimes takes about an hour.
I assume this is not normal and can be handled.
    Can anybody advise ?
System is running Zabbix version 5.

Look at the server settings CacheUpdateFrequency
If the system has a passive zabbix proxy the following settings may play a role: ProxyConfigFrequency & ProxyDataFrequency

      Hi,
      CacheUpdateFrequency is at 60 seconds.
      Proxy is active.
I tried to lower ConfigFrequency to 60 seconds ( was 3600), but it didn't change much...

      This is what happenes:

      1. I add a new host ( this time with SNMP interface).
      2. the SNMP label on the hosts screen goes green after a few seconds.
      3. In the latest data section i see only a couple of items.
      4. after 30-60 minutes the rest of the items are appearing.

Is the LLD rule on the template executed once per hour?

dimir can you please point me to the LLD rules configuration? I'm familiar with LLD macros, but not with LLD rules.

"Configuration -> Templates -> click Discovery (N) -> click Name" and you should see its Update interval.
