Linux service monitoring using systemctl only works on zabbix server

Hi,

I recently install https://share.zabbix.com/operating-s...sing-systemctl but even though all the clients are using a template that includes this new one, only the zabbix server is collecting the systemd metrics.

I'm sure I missing/ or not understanding something really simple. Can any one help please.

Did you add the required UserParameter setting on every one of your clients (and restart zabbix-agentd)?

Note that the new zabbix-agent2 has native support for systemctl services, so if you're using Zabbix 5.x as your server (you don't say -- it's often easier to answer questions when full details about the environment is provided) you might want to experiment with that. There isn't full feature parity between zabbix-agentd and zabbix-agent2, but it sounds like zabbix-agent2 is where the focus will be going forward.
