Zabbix Log monitoring Problem

Hy All !

I try to monitoring a logfile but I always get Not Supported error , the agent conf is configured good i think and log file is exists and zabbix user can open it .

Has anybody meet this problem yet ?

Hi,

Log file monitoring only works of you have your Zabbix Agent setup using Active Agent monitoring (IE: ServerActive entry is configured in zabbix_agentd.conf and working).

If that is set up correctly and it's still not working, increase the logging level of your Zabbix Agent and post any sections relating to Log File items error here...
