Hi,
I have installed Zabbix 2.4 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. On a Windows 2008 R2 server I have two Oracle 11gR2 databases. I have now also installed DBforBIX 0.6.1 on the DB server and the service is running.
I have configured DBforBIX for two database (d9 and d83). The log file looks fine. Judging by the messages for both databases:
INFO DBforBIX - Done with dbJob on database d83 elapsed time 16 ms
In Zabbix I have configured two hosts with the names exactly the same as the DB's (d9 and d83). All lowercase. The template 'Template Oracle' was imported and linked to the hosts in question.
What I now see is that only the items of type ' Zabbix agent' are filled with values (like Free disk space, Free memory). None of the items of type 'Zabbix trapper' are receiving any values (Hit Ratio, DB Version, Alive etc.)
Can you please explain what I may have done wrong or have forgotten to do ?
