I have a lap, and I, unfortunately, don't have the resources to get a UPS.
Yesterday, some cleaver guy *cough cough* decided to short circuit the power by cutting the hedge and getting the powerline in the mix.
After booting up the nuc based esxi server and powering on the vm, I got a "Database error Connection refused" page when accessing the Zabbix.
jumping on the Zabbix appliance (5.0 LTS, 5.0.3) and checked out the mysqld log, it seems like something has broken in the mysql deamon ?
I would love it if someone could recommend a recovery approach, I tried looking around but mysql in general is an area where I still fall short and haven't had much exposure.
If it is not possible to recover, I would be great if I could get a hint on how to recover the config if that part is possible, I spend a good time learning how to configure everything and as usual haven't spend time on the backup process of the config.
All help will be appreciated.
stay safe!
