      Можно - для собственного успокоения - скачать образ новой версии Заббикса, установить в виртуальной машине, создать один хост с одним элементом и проверить: "А в версии 2.4.4 сервер работает нормально или тоже падает?"
      Sincerely yours,
      Aleksey

        It sounds to me like you are running with an abbreviated zabbix_agentd.conf file instead of one that contains all possible parameters, which is supplied with a Zabbix install as far as I know. If you have the full version of zabbix_agentd.conf, you would have seen this:

        ### Option: Hostname
        # Unique, case sensitive hostname.
        # Required for active checks and must match hostname as configured on the server.
        # Value is acquired from HostnameItem if undefined.
        #
        # Mandatory: no
        # Default:
        # Hostname=

        Hostname=My Hostname

          You right about full version of zabbix_agent.conf, I have it on zabbix server. the clients do not have a full version, I don`t know why..
          But the point is that I am looking for the informaition step-by-step configuration
          of active server in offitial site, and cannot find.

          I`ll find a way to send it to moderators.
