active check configuration update from [:] started to fail (ZBX_TCP_READ() timed out)
Hi,
I have newly installed Zabbix 5.0.3, on Centos 7 VMs on a VirtualBox. I am facing a issue where active checks are not working, passive checks works just fine.
The agent conf file entries are correct, in Serveractive field the ip of the zabbix server is entered. The telnet to zabbix server ip to port 10051 from the agent server is just fine. There is no firewall in the network. The post 10051 is listening on zabbix server.
The error on the agent log is "active check configuration update from [x.x.x.x:10051] started to fail (ZBX_TCP_READ() timed out)"
Just to verify if the issue is reported in the zabbix server agent also,I attached the agent active template to the zabbix server . Peculiar it may sound the active checks are fine however, the status of the zabbix server won't change to green.
I have seen few forums before, however there were no clear solution. Some suggested that it could be route issue.
