On SNMP devices I get error message from several LLD discovery where the filter is missing values for some of the discovery macros.
Example: the provided Etherlike-MIB discovery template.
The missing macro value is due to e.g. VLAN interfaces without duplex information and therefore the macro is not filled and the filter fails with the error:
"Cannot accurately apply filter: no value received for macro "{#SNMPVALUE}"."
Is there a way to workaround this issue?
I tried to include a filter to check for IFTYPE, but since all filters are checked for match it still gives error. I also tried to create LLD override without any change (perhaps the override is done after the filter?).
Even though the discovery seems to complete it makes it difficult to see which discovery rules have "real" errors.
Any suggestions welcome!
