Not Receiving Email Alert Notification from Action Created

Any idea why this is happening?
I am able to test SMTP and receive the test email. I've created an action for a simple event on a managed host (icmp ping down) and assigned the user to Read-Write permission on the mentioned host group (even tried to send email alert for Admin built-in) user without success.

    What version of Zabbix?

It seems like this is a new install, but you don't say for certain.

Does the problem show up in Monitoring->Problems? Is there anything in the "Actions" column?

tim.mooney I am using 5.0.4 Version for both Zabbix Server and Agents ( agents installed on windows server while zabbix is running on Ubuntu 18.04). However, I was able to manage it out by removing the host and adding it again under "Virtual machines" instead of "Discovered Hosts". I thought that newly added servers should be under host group "Discovered Hosts". But the issue now is that the action created for example, send email alert to Admin user if Triger equals ServerName C:: Disk space is critically low (used > 90%) => I am receiving an alert for a total different trigger (in my case: Problem: "WbioSrvc" (Windows Biometric Service) is not running (startup type automatic)
      kindly check screenshots appended.

This sounds like you have applied one of the built-in Windows templates to the system without configuring which services should be ignored (not monitored).

I recommend you review the template to understand what it is doing and how it can be configured (generally through User Macros -- the latest official Zabbix templates are highly configurable through macros) and then set macros appropriate for your environment.

I had to add a template for OS windows by Zabbix Agent to monitor CPU, memory and other services running on my Windows Server. However, do you mean that I have to ignore/ disable unneeded triggers? For example I need to monitor and get alerts when Service X stops should I ignore all other services? Is it by default that those triggers will initiate an alert even if I did not assign an "Action" (within the actions field..) to do so?
