    Reset monitoring hosts view reset?

Somehow, my default view of hosts in the monitoring section includes a host group filter ("Teltonikas"). Every time I go to that view, it's filtered to only show Teltonikas. If I remove the host group from the filter and apply, I am shown all hosts... but if I push reset or reload the page, it automatically filters for Teltonikas again.

How can I reset my default hosts view to show all hosts, without the Teltonikas filter?

I have to believe that the action executed when I request "https://zabbix.server.net/zabbix.php?action=host.view" has somehow gotten the Teltonikas filter added its default presentation, but I don't know where to find the default setting to remove the Teltonikas filter. Any ideas, anyone? Can you please point me in the right direction?

roboris Do you mean "Monitoring" > "Hosts"? Is the "Host Groups" box already filled with "Teltonikas" group?

Did you check if you have a "favorite" filter selected?
Have you tried to clear your browser's cache?

markfree Yes, the Host Groups box contains "Teltonikas" every time I go to Monitoring > Hosts, and every time I reload the page in the browser. I have cleared my browser cache, no difference. Where would I select a favorite filter for the Home tab of Monitoring > Hosts?

markfree I only have the Home tab, but it defaults to populating the host groups filter with Teltonikas. This is my issue.

              That's quite odd.

Please, bare with me. Did you click at the small "X" next to Teltonikas group, then "apply"?
Did you try to restart your server?

Yes. Then it shows all hosts, like I want, but the next time I visit Monitoring > Hosts, or if I simply reload the page in my browser, Teltonikas is back in the host groups filter and only Teltonikas are shown.

                > Did you try to restart your server?

Yes, full shutdown and reboot, and restarted the zabbix-server service several times.

                  What browser are you using?
Have you tried switching to another browser?

I’ve confirmed that the behavior is the same in different browsers, even browsers that haven’t visited our Zabbix instance before. It’s Zabbix doing this internally. Somehow, my default Monitoring > Hosts view includes the Teltonikas host groups filter, and I’m forced to remove it manually if I want to view all hosts.

Sorry, roboris , I'm out of ideas.
I'm not sure the issue is with Zabbix server. It seems more like a PHP issue, but I am not good at that.
Someone more experienced could have some better opinion.

If it is not a hindrance to you, maybe you could reinstall your Zabbix or, at least, reinstall Zabbix Frontend.
                        Code:
                        apt-get install --reinstall zabbix-frontend-php
But make sure you backup everything before that!

I realize this is a very old thread, but I am having the same issue. I haven't solved it but I can confirm the issue has followed from 5.2 to 5.4.
