    Host reverts back to SNMPv1

    Hi,

I recently upgraded my server and proxies from 4.4 to 5.2 but most recently I "refreshed" all the official templates to those bundled with 5.2 (we've been carrying some stuff over since 2.0).
The process went smoothly except for one template: Cisco IOS SNMP

The templates works but I've noticed from time to time (~72h) the host to which the template is applied (2 switch stacks and a router, all cisco and 16.9 IOS) has it's SNMP version revert from SNMPv2 to SNMPv1 and the SNMP community from my macro to public.
For a printer that's no big issue but on these switches it makes the 64bits counters items not supported and therefore a bunch of metrics based on those counters stop working.

Changing back to SNMPv2 and adjusting the community solves the problem. However this keeps happening. I suspect discovery actions might be to blame if the behavior changed from 4.4 to 5.2 with that newer template but I don't understand how since those actions didn't change.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm running Zabbix 5.2 on MySQL and 2x Proxy 5.2

Nobody? I've been looking around and I can find why discovery would make the host revert back to SNMPv1 but disabling it does solve the problem.
