no alerts in 1.1

After looking into this for a few hours I notice that while my triggers/actions are defined correctly and my events occur, my alert table is completely empty and thus I get no email when my triggers are triggered. I don't see this addressed as a bug in 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. Is this a known problem? what info can I provide to help debug this?

I am having the same problem as well. The link in the previous post did not help. I am using a very simple trigger to test with.

{wug:status.last(0)}=2

Trigger is logged as happening but no action has taken place. I have no conditions on my action, the email address is configured under the user specified, and the email media type is configured properly.
