    Zabbix error on top of the screen

    Hello,

    I recently installed a fresh Zabbix server with front-end and agent.

    OS: Arch Linux, 5.11.7
    DB: 10.5.9 MariaDB Arch Linux
    PHP: php 8.0.3, Zend engine v4.0.3
    Web server: lighttpd 1.4.59

    The installation was done following this guide : "https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Zabbix".
    When I login in to the front-end the page opens and I see the dashboard but I get an error on top of the page.
    If I login from the server (localhost):
    "Required parameter $sql_parts follows optional parameter $table_alias [zabbix.php:22 → require_once() → ZBase->run() → CSettingsHelper::getGlobal() → CSettingsHelper::loadParams() → API::getApiService() → CRegistryFactory->getObject() → CApiService->__construct() → CApiService->pk() → CApiService->getTableSchema() → CAutoloader->loadClass() → require() in include/classes/core/CAutoloader.php:77]"
    If I login for another computer(network):
    "Required parameter $sql_parts follows optional parameter $table_alias [hosts.php:22 → require_once() → ZBase->run() → CSettingsHelper::getGlobal() → CSettingsHelper::loadParams() → API::getApiService() → CRegistryFactory->getObject() → CApiService->__construct() → CApiService->pk() → CApiService->getTableSchema() → CAutoloader->loadClass() → require() in include/classes/core/CAutoloader.php:77]"

    Kind regards,
    Tomaz

    I had same problem. Downgraded to PHP 7, and the error went away.
    Not a "full solution", but a workaround for the time being.

      I tried the downgrade to PHP 7 but all I got was a new error.
      "DB type "MYSQL" not supported by current setup"

        I tried different solutions but the problem still exists.
