JMX interface is not starting

Hello,

I have the following problem:
I have two servers with JMX and Zabbix interfaces- they are working fine, but when I add a JMX interface to another server it is not starting- the status icon of the JMX interface is staying gray. I have added template, there is no firewall restrictions to the new server, the port set for JMX is open to the server, but still doesn't want to start. The server is version 2.4.5, the java-gateway is on the same host as the server.
The only difference, between the servers with working JMX interfaces and the third server is that the last one is being monitored through zabbix proxy.
In the java gateway logs there is no entry for the third server, and in the server logs no entry regarding the JMX monitoring items as well.
The java pollers count is set to5.

Any ideas why the JMX interface is not starting?

Well, it turned out that if you use zabbix proxy, the JMX will go through it so you need java gateway together with the proxy.

You can have the proxy point to a non localhost java gateway, but I think it's simpler for each proxy to have it's own java gateway.
