Web scenario step [www-url:inicial] error: error doing curl_easy_perform: SSL connect

Hi,

Weeks ago some of our Web Scenarios (Zabbix 1.8.12) with HTTPS started getting this error message:

"Web scenario step [www-url:inicial] error: error doing curl_easy_perform: SSL connect"

We suspect it is a problem with the certificate or the TLS protocol. wget shows:

"ERROR: cannot verify www-url’s certificate, issued by “xyz”:
Self-signed certificate encountered."

Does anyone know what this could be?
