SNMP Agent issues

Hi,

we are in process of evaluating zabbix for our environment monitoring, so far we have no issues monitoring with agent (active) and using zabbix_sender, but we have issues with monitoring snmp with snmp agent, for evaluation tested to monitor snmp devices (mikrotik router) via snmp v3 protocol.

what we have done :

1. Test snmp connection to device with snmpwalk from server
2. Setup snmp device monitoring with snmp agent in the zabbix server
3. for some period the data collected successfully, but after few days the snmp detected unavailable (screenshot below), successfully tested with snmpwalk to the device and randomly test snmp item and can return the result succesfully
4. after restart the zabbix server, sometimes the snmp agent can collect data again, but after few days the issues came up again

Questions :

1. what command zabbix server run to test the agent availability?
2. what should i do to make snmp monitoring stable?

Our evaluation environment :

• OS : Ubuntu 20.04.02
• Zabbix version : 5.2.5
• Database : mysql
