We were asked by our team to investigate if they can create tickets from the dashboard as we are not interested in auto-ticketing which can be done over "Configuration > Actions > Trigger actions".
Our people would like to either:
Next we tried to see if it would be possible to do this easily via the "acknowledge popup". Looking into the code we quickly discovered the change would affect multiple files and each time Zabbix is updated we could risk this being overwritten.
The best way would be if this is implemented in the future via the "acknowledgement popup" probably. But for now, do you guys have any other ideas on how to solve this in the most easy way so we can create tickets from the dashboard?

- be able to right click the alerts on the dashboard and create a ticket using a script entry.
- or be able to do this via the "acknowledgement popup".
