Backend server is working - Cannot access GUI (DB Version error) - Need some help

    Hi,

So have have recently upgraded to 5.2 and it ran fine for a number of weeks. No issues. Today we brought the network down to do firmware upgrades to the switches etc, nothing unusual. This included taking the Zabbix server down as it uses a remote DB mysql server in our setup.
When coming back the DB servers were not coming up cleanly, so that took some effort to resolve, but it was all back ok in the end. When I then brought the Zabbix server back, all the browser shows is the error:
    • The Zabbix database version does not match current requirements. Your database version: 5020000. Required version: 5000000. Please contact your system administrator.
    However, the log file shows:
    • current database version (mandatory/optional): 05020000/05020000
Confused so far... and I am stumped by the fact that the backend of the server is actually working!
If I take a node down or restart, I get a notification, and the log file does reflect that the node went down and came back.

I can also see that there are now new entries in the DB 'history_text' table. So thing are clearly working, DB access confirmed, monitoring is working and notifications are sent out, but I can access the GUI!

    What I am missing?

It seems that the version of the web frontend software you are using is 5.0. Check the version of the web frontend.
