I'm having performance issues from zabbix and can't find any resources to help troubleshoot them. A 2cpu8gb ram zabbix 5.2 server with 42 hosts, 7000 items and 105npvs is constantly running at 85-90% cpu utilization. The processes consuming the majority of the cpu are the lld and preprocessing workers. This started when setting up rabbitmq node templates for our rabbitmq servers. We have 4 rabbit instances (3 are 3 node clusters, one is standalone) each of the 4 instances has about 900 queues on it. Right off the bat, it killed performance. I went into the queue discovery item prototype and disabled the discovery of 17 of the 18 items in an attempt to lessen the load (and deleted the already discovered items). I'm ok with that as the 'Messages' value is really the primary thing I'm interested in monitoring on the queues. Cpu utilization has been like this for days and its concerning as I have more hosts I'd like to add to zabbix.
Does anyone have any suggestions for improving this or resources I can read?
Thanks
