    Zabbix slack notifications support

    Hello,
I'm trying to set up Zabbix notifications following this procedure: https://monitoreverything.net/2020/06/24/send-notifications-from-zabbix-to-slack/
I'm getting a " Slack notification failed: invalid_auth " Error, test message is being sent to the slack channel, but Zabbix is not sending slack notifications for problems (triggers). I can see that triggers are set correctly because I get email notifications.. Can you please help? Thanks.

Hey there. Did you ever find a resolution to this problem?

We're having the same issue, where the message is successfully being seen in Slack, however all alerts are re-sent 3 times and Zabbix sees the error of "invalid_auth". We re-confirmed all our settings multiple times now without resolution.

I see a similar, recent post was placed on reddit as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/zabbix/comm...bix_and_slack/

Is this a bug with the latest version?

Just wanted to post a quick update, thanks to this other forum post: https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-...lack-bot/page2- I was able to find a solution.

It appears the version we were on had a bug in the media_slack.yaml file. I also updated to 5.4 to attempt to fix the issue, but didn't realize I also have to re-download the latest version of the media_slack.yaml file.

You'll need to re-download the yaml file from the zabbix 5.4 git branch.

I was able to pull the latest 5.4 version of the media_slack.yaml file from here: https://git.zabbix.com/projects/ZBX/...Frelease%2F5.4

I then had to go back to Administration > Media types > Import > Upload the above file > check "Update existing, uncheck "Create New" > Import.

After this, my slack settings were wiped, but after re-entering, I no longer get the error mentioned initially. I'm unsure if an upgrade to 5.4 is required or not, or if simply re-loading the latest version of the .yaml file is sufficient. But regardless, it appears to be working now.
