    monitor virtual machines

    Hello,
    I am newbie in zabbix. I want to monitor performance of virtual machine(VMware/XEN/KVM) in terms of CPU utilization, memory used.Do I need to install agent on each virtual machine and then fetch statistics?or Is there any other way to monitor this?

      If you want to know the status of detailed OS on the VM,
      it is better that you have installed the agent on each VM.

          VMware monitoring is supported out of the box since v. 2.2.0. Don't know about Xen/KVM.
