Import Template for Template Equallogic SAN

    Hi all,
I'm trying to use this template https://www.zabbix.org/wiki/Monitori...llogic_Systems
But when i import it "Configuration > Template > Import"
    I'v got the following error

Cannot find value map "eqlMemberHealthStatus" used for item "Health status" on "Template Equallogic SAN".
I have try to change something on the xml file but with no success.

    Any hints on this ?

Did you create the value mappings as outlined on the link that you provided?

    Creating Value Mappings

It seems Zabbix does not yet allow anyone to export Value Mappings with a template. The Value Mappings need to be created by hand, for now. Go to Administration -> General and select Value mapping on the right side of the General page...

      Hi,
Thanks for reply. Seems there is some king of problem, but I add the maping value and still have the error. Maybe i puting the wrong way.

In the CONFIGURATION OF VALUE MAPPING i have put the name "Template Equallogic SAN" and in the Value i have put "Health status" and in the Mapped Value i have put the "eqlMemberHealthStatus". I did other way around, Mapped Value to be "Health status" and in the Value i have put the "eqlMemberHealthStatus". And still have no luck.

      Any other idea ?

The items that are in your template are already configured to look for and use the right value mappings. You simply need to create them to look like the below. Do this under Administration --> General --> select Value Mappings from top right dropdown --> Create value map and then save it.

(This is only one example. That template you are talking about has many others you have to create as well)

          Thanks for this tchjts1
It help me, but now same error but different value.
Cannot find value map "eqlMemberRaidStatus" used for item "Raid Status" on "Template Equallogic SAN".
Should i do the same procedure and how should i know how many values to go ( 0,1,2,3 etc ) ?

          Thanks !

All of that information is in the link that you give in your first post. It tells you exactly what mappings you have to create and what the values map to. Apparently there are a total of 8 of these mappings you have to complete.

This is a portion of that link you give. I think you should read through it again.
