    connect Zabbix to EA1240 sensor of ATen(PE6108G)

    Hi all
    I'm new to zabbix and i have some problem
    I connect my environmental monitoring device ATen(PE6108G) to the zabbix server 2.2.6 ,
    the device have Temperature and Humidity sensor EA1240 ,How can i connect the sensor to the zabbix server so i can calculate the data from it

    PLZ so Urgent !!!!!!

    I just did a basic search for this ATen PE6108G device; I found a PDU, I hope this is what you are talking about.

    The PDU has an ethernet port and supports SNMPv3.

    You might have some luck finding a template for another PDU like APC and trying that. From what I remember, PDU's don't have an enormous number of OIDs exported.

    The manufacturer likely has an MIB you can use for both polling and traps.

    Setup of SNMP is a bit beyond a simple answer here ... you will need to look at the docs for that. Zabbix server runs on linux, and most linux distro's have the snmp client/server/trap software.

    Learn how to use snmpwalk, and you will learn a lot about the device. Installing the MIB will help.
