Zabbix installation : Cannot connect to database

Hello everybody !

I am installing Zabbix 5.4 on a brand new vm under Debian 10 with nginx and postgreSQL 11

Packages installation and configuration worked fine, the zabbix DB schema is OK

Unfortunately, I can't connect in the Zabbix Frontend :


I checked zabbix_server.conf and specified the following elements, inspired by la doc d'Artus Lontons
DBHost=
DBName=zabbix
DBUser=zabbix

Telnet on port 10051 responds, but not on port 5432.

Would you have an idea to help me please?

Solved. Both zabbix-mysql and zabbix-postgresql are installed. It seems there are some conflicts. Just remove zabbix-postgresql, it works.

Hi,
netstat -tulnp shows that port 5432 is only accessible from 127.0.0.1 : to solve the problem I accessed the frontend from the server, not from my computer !
