Different graph data of switches

Hi,

is it a common effect that Zabbix collects more data of older switches than of newer switches?

I created two various graphs of two different switches. One of them is newer (around 2 years old). I noticed that the older switch collects more data than the new one. Is it an issue in the item settings?

If both items have the very same item configuration defined (protocol, key, update interval, ...), then there seems to be an issue with the "newer" switch.
In this case there are several causes thinkable: connection issues, SNMP-Bulk-Request issues, request retry issues, ...
