    Map labels doesn't working

    Hi,

    I'm trying to customize my host map with a personal label but it is not working correctly. It seems to only apply the hostname from the host and not using macros or strings.

    Any idea?

    Best regards.

    you have a macro in the macro. it won't work like this.

    use this "{SRVBACKUP:system.cpuload[].last()}

        Of course it doesn't work! enter the element key correctly {SRVBACKUP:system.cpuload[all,avg,1].last()}

        My post shows a conceptual example, not an exact expression. The point is to explicitly use the host name, and not specify it through a macro.

      Hi Hamardaban,

      Code:
      {SRVBACKUP:system.cpuload[all,avg,1].last()}
      neither works.

      Map is allways displaying the hostname given by the inventory name. No matter what is in Label field.

      Best regards.

        Label Label that will be rendered on top of the link.
        The {host:key.func(param)} macro is supported in this field, but only with avg, last, min and max trigger functions, with seconds as parameter.

          Hi Hamardaban,

          Problem is not about macros but about map configuration. When you select "Advanced labels" on map properties, by default, it sets all labels to "Element name" so it does not matter what you put into label field, it allways display the same.

          Thanks for the support.

          Best regards.
