Having a weird issue since upgrade to 5.4
When we get a SNMP agent item "<tem>" on host "<host>" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds (usually when we do a device reboot and its not reachable for a few minuets) the SNMP never starts checking again. the SNMP icon for the host stays green as well.
The only way to get the SNMP connection restored is to go manually execute a SNMP check from the item list for the host. You then get the Connect restored message in the log.
During this time when its not checking we are able to snmpwalk from the cli and everything else seems to be functioning as expected.
Any ideas?
