Zabbix Queue is huge

Hi all ,

I'm using Zabbix 2.2.3 .
Also i'm using zabbix-proxy for monitoring couple of my servers
Zabbix server + zabbix proxy are working under linux RHEL 6 .

I have an often problem that my queue is huge ( huge in my numbers )
it's mean that i have something like 200 QUEUE OF ITEMS TO BE UPDATED .

I really don't know what to do and how to fix it .
Please take a look at the attachment and you can see that the pending items are coming only from the proxy server and not from the local zabbix server

my zabbix proxy configuration is default:

DebugLevel=3
StartPollers=50
TmpDir=/var/lib/zabbixsrv/tmp

I really don't know what information will help here so please try to help me.

We have a good day when we are under a few thousand, but this is usually a config issue on the proxy or server with processes like trappers - you should graph those.

Also you should check the proxy & server logs for timeouts.

Remember the queue is not a real queue but a list of late items, i.e. their latest data is later than their last data plus update interval plus something like 10 seconds.
