Zabbix Agent issue - Zabbix is not available (for 3m)

Hello,

I am having issues with Zabbix agent both on the Server itself and the test Windows Server is have it installed onto.


On the Host Zabbix server I fully rebooted it, restarted the services:

systemctl restart zabbix-server
systemctl restart zabbix-server
systemctl restart httpd


I am leaning maybe towards a configuration issue as a potential, I am just not sure where to look and what to check.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Ok so just an update for anyone who happens to have this issue.

I found out it was due to me not using the FQDN of the server I was looking to monitor.

For the Zabbix local server itself, I just removed it for now and will look again later, its not resolved.

What does the logs say ?
Additionally make sure that 10050 port is opened on zabbix server and for the remote system port 10051 is opened.

It worked... I changed the agent IP and DNSname to FQDN. I just built a new Zabbix 6.0 LTS

I'm guessing, if you are using docker, then 127.0.0.1 refers to docker container, not the host, that's why FQDN works instead of 127.0.0.1
