Mail sender weird server reply

Hello!
Last friday got a problem with a media type mail sender. It stopped working without any cause. What can I do? Config worked well for an year.

Also couldnt find any logs. /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_server.log shows the same error without any details.

Besides, I installed and configured ssmtp on zabbix server on same config as on pics, and it works without problems. Media types still having an error.

I'm having this issue too since 07:36am BST on one of my servers, also connecting to office exchange. I switch over to an emergency gmail account we have but still the same error. Are you hosting on Ubuntu 18.04.6 as well?

Trying to work out what the commality is here, but I'm struggling at present.

Hi hst174 yesterday i has write here with this problem.
I Don't resolve the problem with "weird server reply", but i used other tool to send email. a Script.

• Find AlertScriptsPath in /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf - default path is -> /usr/lib/zabbix/alertscripts
• cd /usr/lib/zabbix/alertscripts
• nano zabbix-alert-smtp.sh (or_name_you_want.sh)
• paste script and change the variables like smtp server, user and password (the script on link github)
• chmod 755 zabbix-alert-smtp.sh (or_name_you_want.sh)
• Please install python - apt-get install python
• I don't know if you need install ssmtp / because i did an others test and installing before.
• Go to Zabbix web UI, Administration > Media types > Create media type
• Enter Script name: zabbix-alert-smtp.sh
• Entre Script parameters: {ALERT.SENDTO} / {ALERT.SUBJECT} / {ALERT.MESSAGE}
• Save
• After that, you need add in every mail user, with the new media type with the mail again.
• Need change in actions Sending by script: zabbix-alert-smtp.sh

Zabbix Version: Zabbix 5.4.4
OS: Ubuntu 18.04
Error Weird Server Reply Start: 17/09/2021 and finish with this solution 21/09/2021

I use an other names of script.

I guess you shoudl investigate what has changed in that outlook endpoint...
