Hi all,
I'm facing a very strange problem.
I have a discovered ( windows ) host that present itself with a name of server01 and a DNS name of SERVER01 ( for example ).
I then change the DNS name to server01 as I get a whole bunch of messages in logs saying that:
1527685:20211006:144812.510 cannot send list of active checks to "172.12.1.193": host [server01] not found
and the messages disappear when I change the hostname to lowercase.
Few minutes after changes I get back to webUI and found that the DNS name has again changed to SERVER01 but I'm really sure I haven't changed it.
It could eventually be related to discovery, but is there a way to stop this ?
It's driving me crazy ( and it's not the only stuff changing but this is the more evident ).
The windows server is a Windows Server 2019 Datacenter ( version 1809 )
I'm on 5.4.4 docker with a postgres db backend.
Thanks in advance.
