    Zabbix proxy corrupting my database with 'database error'

    Hello everyone, and thank you for this great piece of software

    I have a Zabbix Proxy machine using SQLite3, VM running CentOS 8, x86_64. It has just replaced a Zabbix proxy machine with exactly the same hostname which used to be a bare-metal machine, not sure it's important but I prefer to mention that.
    Former proxy machine used to work like a charm. But new instance that replaced it doesn't initialize properly ; when Zabbix server try to send Proxy configuration, operation ends up with following logs :

    Of course I first tried to remove the zabbix_proxy SQLite database, I removed the file then restarted Zabbix Proxy. Same issue.
    I then retried with manual creation of SQLite database (using provided schema.sql.gz), same issue.

    I thought it could be related to the old proxy machine sharing the same name (machine removed since), so I removed all configuration for that proxy, removed again the database, then restarted && recreated the Proxy object configuration. Same issue.

    Except from trying with Postgres or Mariadb database as a workaround, I'm not sure what I can do next... The machine is supposed to monitor a bunch a agents only, so anything other than SQLite would be overkill IMO.
    It looks like a new bug. Any ideas ..?

      Indeed I did not specify version, sorry for that. I had this issue on 5.0.15, and I tried downgrading to 5.0.1 without success.
      Insert in double look suspicions yes, I have no idea what can cause that.

          Same issue when I reset zabbix-proxy database and change hostname on Server side (Proxies conf) and host side (hostname). Same double inserts...

                      Actually this is worst than I thought. All my zabbix proxies are having this issue, and not only this one.
                      All the 4 proxies continue working but with the old configuration, so any configuration change is not taken into account for 5 days now, this is pretty serious.
                      If you have any idea so the company doesn't throw away the whole Zabbix infra (202 hosts / 12k items), I'm eager to ear it

                          In your original post, you said that you had replaced one proxy with a proxy on a VM, and that's when the issue started.

                          Have you replaced all your proxies? What else changed 5 days ago that might be related to all of your proxies breaking?

                              Hi Tim,
                              Indeed, on monday, I reinstalled a centos machine for replacing a base metal machine with a virtual machine. I kept the same proxy configuration on server (same machine name/IP) and that's all, I don't remember about any other configuration change except templates/items/triggers stuff.

                                      What version of Zabbix? All lines seem to be double... I am not much of a DB person, but that should cause some issues with UNIQUE...
